We host full seven-a-side netball.  Games will be played as four 10 minute quarters.

Do we need to wear a uniform?

What times will we play?

What time you play is largely determined by the draw, and will change from week to week. To give you a guidline, however, our earliest games will be from 6:30pm.  Our latest games will be complete by 9:45pm.

Do you provide umpires?

We provide experienced and qualified umpires. The rules are as per the current All England Netball Association netball rules publication – and reflect the Official Rules of the International Federation of Netball Associations.

A fun game is a controlled game, and Social Sports' Site Managers are always on hand has a dedicated Umpiring Convenor to oversee the quality of the umpiring provided, and manage the umpires in general.

What about Nails and Jewellery?

To ensure the safety of each of our members, Social Sports have a strict policy of checking that each player has trimmed their nails prior to each and every game.  Nails should be cut to below the pads of the fingers.

Social Sports does not allow players to tape nails or to wear gloves.

Like with finger nails, jewellery poses a big safety issue to players on court, and each player will be asked to remove all jewellery prior to taking the court.  The only exception to this rule is for a wedding band, which can be worn only if taped.

No Other Jewellery Is Allowed - Taping of Jewellery is Not Allowed

Will there be a finals series?

There will be a finals series for each of the Outdoor leagues.  Details of your finals series will be supplied at the commencement of your league and around the time of your finals.

What happens if my team can’t get enough players on the night and have to forfeit?

The success of this league is largely due to everyone participating fully!

Your team captain will have the facility to search our 'Ringers' database in the event that your team is short for any matches.  We provide as much spport as possible to prevent the disruption of forfeited games, so please be in communication with us if you know you are going to be short of players.

Please note that there is a forfeiture fee of £50 if your team fails to field a team.  This is to refund your opposition with the fees that they have paid and the umpires who were scheduled to officiate.

I have more questions, can I talk with someone?

Please contact us on our main number 020 8534 8444.  Our office hours are from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
